The Sumo Energy Basics

Page 1 is where you’ll see all of the important stuff – the bill amount and the due date. These are the most important parts, but you’ve also got your reference number and the address you’re paying for. It’s important, so it’s always worth checking this just to make sure there’s no errors.

Your Sumo Energy electricity bill overview is on Page 2, and this is also where you’ll find any contact numbers you might need – and they’re really big so you can’t miss them!

Sumo Energy Charges

So, your Sumo Rates should appear on Page 2, and this gives you a detailed account of how you’re being charged. Here you can see the different tariffs you’re being charged on if you’re on a time-of-use plan, or just your main charge if you’ve got a single rate.

Check here for your daily supply charge, and you’ll also see the previous balance and any payments you’ve made. If you’re receiving any discounts or concessions, they’ll also appear here in the ‘Adjustments’ section.

The Graphs

On the front page, Sumo provide you with a graph showing your usage, broken up into Peak, Shoulder and Controlled Load Usage times to give you an idea of where your costs are occurring.

It’s not a graph with Sumo, but on Page 2 they do give you your daily usage compared to the same period last year as well as some info on the average daily usage for other households in your area.
